Bali Artisans is an association that belongs to local non-profit-organisation, the Wahana Kria Putri Foundation, which provides service and support to disadvantaged men and women. Many of them are skilled in craftmaking and have the potential to turn their talent into a business; earning an income to support themselves and their family.

Due to the competitive nature of the handcraft business in Bali, many home-based producers are overshadowed by larger manufacturers and also commonly tricked by fraud. Bali Artisans is simply there to provide a safe platform to showcase their work and create opportunities to find potential customers locally and abroad.
